Wyall Style – our first sub label!

HopeStreet recordings is eager to announce the long awaited upcoming launch of Wyall Style Records.

YAY! We are launching a sub label?

Here is the first instance from the label so check the video, share the hype and start the countdown for the upcoming release of Frida’s EP Slowly, out on the 18th!

Wyall Style Records is our first imprint label with A&R and production by members of The Cactus Channel and Wyall’s first signing Frida.  We aim to  bring you music with just as much heart and groove as their parent label, but through a different set of glasses. Sometimes warped, sometimes crystal clear, we put out rough and delectable pop, electronic backyard BBQ beats and everything in between.

Wyall Style will be curating an ongoing series of releases, mixtapes and videos so follow them at their web homes below:

Quarter Street Live on PBS

Quarter Street will be performing live on air on Melbourne’s PBS FM tomorrow on Switched On with Emma Peel. Tune in to 106.7 FM or listen online from 1pm Melbourne time.

For those not yet familiar with their self-titled album which was released last Friday, you can listen to the entire LP right here and check out today’s review in the Sydney Morning Herald where Paris Pompor says:

“Their debut is largely street-tough across its eight tunes, bursting with punchy brass and unrelenting percussive workouts.”

Paris gave the album 4 stars. Currently it says 3 stars online – apparently that’s a misprint honest 😉

Stream Quarter Street’s debut album here!

With the release date around the corner, we’ve teamed up with The Music to bring you a full stream of the new Quarter Street album for free! Experience it below.
