iTunes names “You Me Bullets Love” Breakthrough World Music Album for 2012

Apple have just announced their Best of 2012 series, and the debut album from Melbourne’s finest vintage Bollywood villains has been named the Breakthrough World Music Album in the US (although, curiously, not in Australia).  Looks like the band are in good company in the iTunes feature too – Antibalas‘ eponymous record has been named Best World Music Album and the best reissue is a crazy awesome LP by Brazilian psychedelic R&B man Tim Maia, Nobody Can Live Forever.

It’s been a big year for The Bombay Royale, who released the You Me Bullets Love  LP in April this year – selling out Melbourne venues, getting rave reviews from bloggers and college radio in the States, selling a lot of records in Japan and recently taking out the Best New Talent in The Age EG Awards.

Buy a copy of You Me Bullets Love on CD/LP from our webstore or your nearest record store, or download it now from iTunes.
